Here, Toño, owner and producer of “HACIENDA LOS 3 TOÑOS” in Amatitlan, Jalisco will take you on a journey through the making of the national drink of Mexico, and you will learn basic fundamentals, like how to drink tequila to best savor.

We believe neither can be missed and have tailored a full-on experience that will transform you from casual tequila drinker into tequila aficionado.Our first distillery is inside an 1870's hacienda, a unique blend of ancient tradition and modern technology. You'll tour both the stunningly beautiful old distillery and the new factory, where a jimador will show you how the outer layers of the plant are shaved-off to reveal the heart of the agave. Our visit ends with an enticing tequila tasting.We’ll also visit one of the few artisanal family-run distilleries, where you'll meet the producers face-to-face and get a very generous taste of what tequila is supposed to be like.We'll stop at Tequila’s main square, where you’ll have time to explore the town, enjoy lunch or indulge in an extra tequila tasting. And we'll of course visit the famous Cantaritos on our way back.

Get in your Jeep and start by heading to the north side of town. Here your guide will walk you through some sculptures, monuments, and murals while telling you of their significance as well as history about Cozumel island. Learn a bit about our Goddess Ixchel, hear about the arrival of the Spaniards, the monument Mestizaje, and more. Then we will go check out a hacienda where you can enjoy the different flavors of tequila while learning about it’s history.Afterwards we are off to visit a Mayan village that will take you back in time. Make chocolate yourself and enjoy its flavor, participate in an ancient ball game, Mayan dance and other activities.After the blast to the past, the tours grand finale is to enjoy a delicious and authentic Mexican lunch at a local restaurant and then finish up the in the central square of Cozumel.
